REVIEW:

Only ever yours is a story about female “eve’s”, in this world girls are genetically hatched and made in laboratories. They are designed to be perfect and they go to school to learn all the things that they need to please a man . There are 3 categories on what the girls’ future would be like. The highest of all are the “companions” they are the wives of the inheritants, the second class are the “concubines” they are the women who gives pleasure to the man, if they are not satisfied with their wives. And lastly there are the “chastities”, technically they are like teachers/nuns. They will never leave the school and they will serve as teachers who will teach the new eves.
The main character is Frieda; she is one of the top 10 candidates to be a companion. Her best friend Isabel is the #1 in all the rank, until she gained a lot of weight and she started to distance herself from Isabel and the other girls. Then she started hanging out with the new #1 eve “Maegan”. She is a very hard person to please; she is a big B----!! Something big happened when Frieda told Maegan a secret and she told all the other eves and that got Frieda in serious trouble and one that will affect her future as a runner for companion..

I disgustingly liked this book.. It’s disgusting because in a way there’s a hint of truth in the story. In this time, some women are still trying find flaws with their appearance, their weight and even the clothes are worn to impress. This book is brilliant and unique.. the characters really got in my nerves. There’s not one character that I liked in this book. But the story and the ending is just plain brilliant.
